Off topic: It is a couple of years ago when I did an editorial about Kosovo and the time after the war. It was and probably is a poor land but it was full of hope and optimism. But then, as now, there is nationalism on both sides that prevents unification and lasting peace. I am so sorry.
About the pictures - they show Mitrovica the neighbouring town to the current unrest. Back then you had to change the number plates if you wanted to drive from the Kosvar part of the city to the Serbian part and vice versa. The other pictures show Prime Minister Albin Kurti. The pictures of the two Orthodox monasteries in Kosovo show how the two stories are interwoven.
